					<description>When I interviewed Tom Wopat for my podcast (mentioned here in a more recent post), it was about a week before all this Cincinnati news started coming out, so the specific incident didn't come up. I did happen to ask him about the confederate flag issue though. 

He acknowledged that there are obviously problems with the confederate flag, but said it was not as politically incorrect back then as it is today and was still used by many states at the time. He says he doesn't beleive that most of the black population took offense to it when it was on the air.
